Sports Psychologist Sam Maniar on Working for the Browns and Searching for Twix
/

Sam Maniar, PhD, owner of Center for Peak Performance (c4pp.org) joined the podcast and dives straight into what sports psychology really is. It turns out that us fans get a lot of things wrong about what goes on when dealing with athletes' heads.

Sam also told some great stories from his time working for the Cleveland Browns and explains the fine line between routines and superstitions.

On top of owning Center for Peak Performance, Sam is currently a  draft consultant for the Cleveland Browns, works with the Akron Zips, and has previously worked for the Browns as a full-time psychologist, the Cubs, the AAF, Ohio State Athletics, and a multitude of other leagues and teams. Sam can be found on twitter @sam_maniar and at CenterForPeakPerformance.com.

Narong hit us with the Arturo Fuente Rosado tonight. It's medium-bodied in strength, but still registers as full-flavored on the palate. Each puff compels the next with unrelenting layers of spicy cinnamon, dried fruit, nuts and maple.
